Mr Ryan Adams has given me some inspiration to start blogging again. hah, blogging - it is such a weird and strange word.

today I got a haircut at the hairdresser up the road. My hairdresser was from lebanon and he was really nice, but not very adventurous. I had to ask him to cut it shorter, first time I've ever done that to a hairdresser (the 2 other times I've been)

Last night when I was sleeping the cover to the light above my bed fell off. It's this real thick glass.

It fell on my head, ON MY HEAD! and smashed everywhere....

Today my head hurts.

I initially thought someone had thrown a bottle in through my window. but no, thick glass fell on my head while I was sleeping. There was thin glass all through my hair. Kinda scary.

I hate ray white, you can't just take an apartment off the market for no apparent reason. There are people with no homes here! People who've filled in applications that resemble their memoirs. There were a lot of angry people on Ross St today....

ah well, what can you do?
That's life, apparently....

argh!

So I had a pretty cool birthday
spent the day by myself reorganising my room and doing washing and stuff, which was nice...
then went shopping in myer, I'm getting an espresso machine!!!!!
then Chad, Jack, Anthony and I went out for mexican, Dean joined us later and it was sooo good. Such good mexican & tequila. This summer is going to be about tequila I think.

Chad got me the most beautiful bracelet, can't wait til it's resized so I can wear it, I'm sooo impressed with him. He also got me Dandy Warhols cds and season 2 of the Mighty Boosh. Awesome.

So yeah, cool chilled out birthday, no fuss.

I think I move out tomorrow, also I think they're going to be closing our work down, we have a big store meeting on wednesday morning, crazy stuff.

I'm down at the pub on the net, wasting some time, while chad's at home doing some songwriting... I think I've reached my boredom limit.

Last night we got on the door to see Kate Miller-Heidke, inevitably we left early.
She's a scary lady.

Last sunday night was Leichhardt/Bondi JB HiFi's christmas party, it was pretty funny, but we left before all the crazy antics begun, ah well.



I'm gonna go and get some crisps and then walk back to chad's

It's been 3 months since I've been back home.

It feels soooo much longer.

1 year ago I was newly in London, wow, doesn't a year go fast.

what a strange time contradiction.

I'm moving today. To North Sydney.
It's a cool little house, may not stay there for long though.
Hmmm, flippin wasted today though. Had to walk from stupid Morisset station. I hate Morisset. They dont' have buses after 12 in this town. ARgh!
So yeah, had to walk for about 1hr & 15 in the hot sun to get home. Now I'm too exhausted to pack, but I gotta get back down to sydney tonight.

If I have to stay up here another day, I think I'll go insane. Feeling like I'm trapped under a Bell Jar up here.

I think I'm going to go on centrelink just so I have something to do...

so, tonight, trying to get to sleep I tried something a little different.
Because last time, when I counted sheep, the sheep jumped too fast, I decided to choose an animal that couldn't go so fast.

So I counted....

So, I've been in Leichhardt for a week. Living awkwardly in a room, sneaking around the occupants until chad comes home after work.
Leichhardt aint so great, other than the good coffee and a fairly quick bus ride into town.

I did get to watch Damien Leith and family hovering around a post box near where I was having a coffee with a friend. That was amusing. His little boy has a mullet. Not even a good mullet, like a early 90's mcgyver style mullet. It was funny.
We did the 'ol hello head-nod, the 'I see you and recognise you, you're kinda famous' head-nod.

I've been reading the Bell Jar, by Sylvia Plath. Pretty cool book. It's quite dark but she's so poetic in her writing that it just makes things like suicide and the subjects mental instability seem very normal and sometimes beautiful. I'm getting the feeling that Girl, Interrupted was based or inspired by this book.

I've been reading a couple of good books lately and they're stirring in me the desire to write a novella or short story (I'm quite lazy).
It's just such a romantic thing, writing a novella.
I've tried before, I wrote a paragraph.

I just wish I had something to write about. A girl, a character that I just really want to explore and write about. A subject even, a story ending that I can write towards. I'm sure it's in me somewhere, I just need to think. Practice writing. Read more. Contemplate and mull over it a lot more.

Yeah, I'd love to write a novella.
